This piece was made as a reminder.

A big serious cloud — solid, weighty, taking up the whole frame. And then, quietly at the bottom, turquoise. And cutting through it all, a ray of orange light that wasn't asked for and couldn't be stopped. That is joy. That is what happens when you stop being so serious for one moment and let it in.

Freely Happy is not about performing happiness or chasing it down. It is about allowing it to leak through — softly, sideways, in colors you weren't expecting. It is the reminder that you are allowed to be light. That freedom and happiness are not rewards for when you've finished being serious. They are available right now, slipping through the edges, waiting for you to notice.

You don't have to earn this. You just have to let it in.

How each piece is made

Every print starts with an original photograph from my personal cloud collection — moments I've been lucky enough to witness and capture. From there, I digitally paint each piece, drawing out the color, mood, and emotion already living in the cloud. The result is something between photography and painting: familiar, but a little otherworldly.
